Do you enjoy doing writing prompts? I do! Here is my first one:
Give three examples of situations where “silence is golden.”
- Silence is golden when you’re hunting, or so I’ve heard. Personally, I don’t hunt, and I don’t think many people would want to hunt with me since I can’t keep my yapper shut. Too many questions!
- Bond court is the perfect example of keeping your mouth shut! I have seen one too many people divulge way too much information to the judge. Doesn’t do them any good, but the state is usually thrilled when people say more then they should.
- When you’re happy that your best friend broke up with her lousy, no-good boyfriend, it’s probably not appropriate to do a happy dance and throw a party.
What are some other situations where it’s best to keep quiet?
